How to Get a Personal Loan
It’s easy to apply for a personal loan with Crester. But you might have some grey areas with questions such as ‘how do personal loans work’, or ‘how can I get a personal loan’?
First, you’ll need to decide how much you would like to borrow. Sometimes this is the easiest part of the process because you have a discrete money amount that need to make up a known shortfall. However, sometimes this can be the tricky part because the nature of your need might have grey areas, e.g. a renovation project with material costs that might change depending on availability.
Next comes repayments and loan reason. Decide how much you are comfortable you can manage repaying as a regular amount and the frequency (week, fortnight, or month), and answer the question, ‘what will you use this money for’?
Crester will then just need a few of the usual personal details, name, birth date, marital status, living situation, current address, phone and email. We’ll need either your New Zealand Driver’s Licence, Passport (any country), or another form of ID.
Crester offers flexible lending, secured finance with plenty of room to move – we’re all about finding creative solutions! Select the item of value that you would like to use as collateral, whether if be a house/property, vehicle, household goods such as appliances, furniture, electronic devices, etc., or something else. You will have the option of nominating a supporting borrower if you don’t have enough security yourself, to provide security on your behalf.
Finally, what do you do to earn a crust (we do loan to beneficiaries, this isn’t necessarily an obstacle)? If you do have a job, we are interested in what you do, where you work, and how long you’ve been there – we won’t ask for salary details or proof of income (remember, it’s a secured loan). If you’ve only recently started there, you can also let us know the details of your previous workplace.
And you’re done! You just have to check the terms and conditions box and we’ll start processing your loan request. That’s it, how to apply for a personal loan, all online. Easy right? So, what are you waiting for?
