Crester is a Christchurch owned and operated business started way back in 1983 by a chap called Dave Diggs. Dave was originally a car dealer but found that he wasn’t any good at making money from it. Cars kept breaking, and he always wanted happy customers, so he fixed them above and beyond. He noticed that people wanted to pay their cars off weekly, not monthly, and in those days, that was unusual. The rest is history, and Dave now donates to charities and Christian organisations all across Canterbury.
